At the core of Jeanie’s work, is transforming the way individuals and organizations think and operate to drive performance and achieve goals. Through a competent fusion of assessment, strategy development, facilitation, and professional coaching, she guides transformation of leaders and their organizations.
Jeanie is President of Raven Group, a business she founded that focuses on organization change and leadership development. She is lead consultant for Raffa, Marcum’s Nonprofit and Social Sector Group, a national firm leading efforts in sustainability and succession planning, executive transition, and search. Additionally, Jeanie serves as faculty for the Center for Creative Leadership, a top-ranked, global provider of executive leadership education, and facilitates open enrollment as well as custom client programs and engagements for both the Global Markets and Societal Advancement divisions.
Known for innovation and executive effectiveness, Jeanie uses the practical wisdom of 20 years in the nonprofit sector – as President and CEO of ArtsGreensboro and executive leadership positions for LifePath Hospice of Tampa, Elon Homes for Children, and the Music Academy of North Carolina.
Jeanie holds her BA in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from Duke University, and her coaching training and certifications from CRR Global (ORSC), Co-Active Training Institute, and the International Coach Federation.
Committed to professional excellence, she is a frequent speaker, trainer, workshop facilitator, and author of numerous published articles related to management and leadership. Additionally, Jeanie brings specialized expertise in a suite of individual and organizational assessments including: the Center for Creative Leadership’s suite of 360-degree feedback assessments; Workplace Big 5; Denison Culture Survey; Change, Decision and Influence Style Indicators; Change Readiness Gauge; Change Navigator; and an array of business simulations.
Professionally active at the local, state, and national levels, Jeanie’s board service experience includes the Women’s Professional Forum, the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Arts North Carolina, and Americans for the Arts. With a lifetime focus on well-being and creativity, Jeanie enjoys working out, writing, music, travel, and anything associated with the outdoors. She and her family make their home in Greensboro, North Carolina.
